Call for Speakers
The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is the premier organization of marketing experts for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries.
The Central Florida Chapter of SMPS is consistently ranked among the Top 5 chapters in the nation with nearly 150 members, and more than 25 Certified Professional Service Marketers (CPSM).
Here, at SMPS Central Florida, our mission is to enhance our member’s abilities by improving their professional development, building their network, and fostering business relationships. We achieve this through strong programs, educational workshops, and community outreach.
SMPS Central Florida is always looking for industry experts for our monthly programs.
Each program can vary; both virtual and live presentations are offered. We also open our programs to other chapters’ members, as well as nonmembers.
Programs can be in a single speaker, panel discussion, roundtable, or a variety of other presentation formats. We are flexible when it comes to deciding how to deliver each program.
Upon selection and scheduling of programs, the speaker and materials are promoted through our social channels and at related chapter events.
Prospective topics should increase the group’s knowledge of industry trends, business development, project opportunities, client relations, or miscellaneous marketing strategies.
Topics of current interest include a few of the following:
- A/E/C Leadership Roundtable: Strategy Deployment, Lessons Learned, and Business Planning
- Mastering Adobe Creative Tools: InDesign, Photoshop, and Creative Cloud
- Leveraging Social Media for Business Development in A/E/C: Strategies and Best Practices
- Pursuit Leadership: Navigating the Competitive Landscape and Winning Projects
- Career Path Development in A/E/C: Strategies for Now and the Future
Don't see something you're a pro at? Feel free to make suggestions for other topics and let us know!
